This may require some restarting. I recommend to look up Platinum God and follow the recipes there, since there are different recipes that are better depending on your situation in-game.
Step 1: Craft Birthright: This will double all pickups from item pedestals.
Step 2: Craft Rock Bottom: All recipes for this item require a bone heart, which can be found in secret rooms. You can get lucky and get an item pedestal in a secret room, or you can play a blood machine in the secret room until it pays out with a pedestal item, which will always drop a bone heart.
Step 3: Craft Soy Milk and then Kidney Stone. This will give an 89.5 tear delay and will destroy pretty much everything even without a damage upgrade.
Step 4: For Boss Rush/Hush, simply craft Mama Mega.
Step 5: After Boss Rush/Hush, begin saving up ingredients to craft the R Key. Note that the recipes for this item require a bone heart, so follow the secret room tip for help. Additionally, depending on the recipe you choose, it will require an additional «rare» item, such as a golden key, golden bomb, or lucky coin, so watch out for those.
Step 6: Go to Blue Baby/Lamb. If you get a Void portal, do Delirium if you are feeling confident enough. Otherwise, use the R Key and go for other marks. Do the Beast last as it will end your run after defeating it. Mega Satan can also end your run as well. There isn’t much to do except leave them for last.
Optional Items:
Spoon Bender: For combat purposes.
The Mind or Blue Map: Having all secret rooms revealed is extremely helpful for bone hearts.
Black Candle: Helps the two items above work without restriction.
Psy Fly: Lets you focus while it destroys stray projectiles.
Host Hat/Pyromaniac: Explosion immunity.
