мод конфиг меню айзек
This was originally a quick update to fix the main issue of the mods list being empty when opening the mod menu.
I’ve been told that the original works now (apparantly some issue was fixed with saves a few hours after mods were enabled). I haven’t checked this myself, but you’re obviously free to try it, no harm would befall you I don’t think.
However, the original won’t be updated (see the note at the top of the original mod page), and I decided to make the original fix, and I want to attempt to keep it going (with the help of anyone that wishes to help).
I have not checked for or fixed any other issues that may exist, but I do plan to try and fix issues that may present themselves, as well as add features.
I am still learning BoI modding, so anyone else feel free to issue pull requests, but I’m willing to learn as much as I can.
My fork is available if anyone wants to issue pull requests, here: https://gitlab.com/Chifilly/bindingofisaac-modconfigmenu
You may want to unsubscribe from the original before using this. I don’t know what would happen if you don’t, but I imagine it won’t be very nice.
Note: You must have started a run in order to open the menu. Lua mods aren’t active until a run starts (a limitation of the API)
Keyboard:
By default you can open the menu by pressing L.
F10 will also always open the menu, this cannot be changed.
Use the arrow keys or WASD keys to move around.
Esc, backspace, or Q can be used to go back.
E, space, or enter can be used to select an item.
Controller:
By default you can open the menu by pressing down the right control stick.
Both control sticks can be used to move around, press B to go back, A to select an item.
— Make sure you have the latest version of Mod Config Menu visible in the Mod Config Menu category.
— Restart the game!
— Reinstall the game and/or verify integrity of game files. I’ve had multiple reports of issues that were fixed by doing one or both of these things.
If you still have issues even after doing all this, please report them to me, and provide any error logs if you have any.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
v32
— Tweak how default values are used for the mod’s settings
— Fix issues with legacy metatables not letting new values get added to the tables
— Toggling the legacy setting no longer gives a warning to restart the game
Added __newindex to legacy metatables. This allows mods that make use of the legacy values to modify them.
Changed overridden require function for legacy handling to properly scope any errors
Update Custom Callback Helper
v31
— Added some more sanity checking for Dead Sea Scrolls menu, hopefully will prevent errors.
— Reworked some functions to accept both category and subcategory ids and names.
— Added RemoveCategory, RemoveSubcategory, and RemoveSetting functions.
— Dpad buttons, X, and Y can now be used in controller keybinds.
Update Custom Callback Helper
v30
— Compatibility layer is now enabled by default, and ran right at mod load.
— Using legacy compatibility layer features will now print a message to the console. The compatibility layer setting has been replaced with a setting that lets you disable these warnings.
— Added CustomCallbacks.MCM_POST_MODIFY_SETTING, this is a general custom callback for when a setting is modified. Can specify multiple extra variables, first one is the category, second one is the config table attribute.
v29
— Compatibility layer now runs much earlier, hopefully fixing remaining issues in certain mods where it didnt work
v28
Fixed setting info not displaying in some situations
