“Xin chao” means “hello” in Vietnamese.
Xin Chao is a modern Vietnamese restaurant from Chefs Christine Ha and Tony J. Nguyen, both second-generation Vietnamese-Americans who have long called Houston home.
At Xin Chao, we invite you to enjoy our contemporary take on Vietnamese cuisine which uses locally sourced ingredients from Texas and the Gulf Coast. Our food is a homage to our Vietnamese heritage and family recipes while also playing to the regional flavors we grew up eating. At the bar, you will find draft beers, wines, and craft cocktails carefully curated to pair with our menu.
We want Xin Chao to be both your neighborhood spot and a place you go for special celebrations. No matter the occasion, let us welcome you with our southern hospitality and a heartfelt “Xin Chao!”
